Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alejandro Dennis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dennis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dennis really is a fat lump.
Silva moves to clinch but Dennis breaks away
and Dennis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Silva scores with a nice hook to the head.
Dennis tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Dennis gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Dennis is trying to pull guard but Silva turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Silva works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dennis trying to control the position.
Silva trying to control but Dennis is working from the bottom.
Silva advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Dennis is refusing to be controlled, as Silva sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva controlling the pace.
Dennis tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.
Dennis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Silva content to control rather than advance.
Silva working over Dennis with some ground and pound. Dennis looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva tries to stand but can't do so whilst Dennis controls his leg.
Silva landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Dennis is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Dennis won't allow Silva to pass to mount.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dennis keeps working.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Silva not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dennis keeps working.
Silva is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dennis!
Dennis really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Silva tries to control but Dennis wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silva throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Dennis tries to hold on but Silva postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dennis is breathing heavily.
Silva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dennis looks a forlorn figure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva connects with a bit shot that sees Dennis covering up! More strikes from Silva and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Silva is our winner by TKO!
