Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juho Pakkinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatus Muminka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muminka has chosen The Moomins music as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juho Pakkinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tatus Muminka!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muminka throws a right and a left that both miss.
Muminka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Muminka tries to clinch there but Pakkinen circles away.
Muminka misses with a series of wild punches.
Pakkinen shoots for a double leg takedown but Muminka sprawls well. He's pushed Pakkinen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Muminka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
No joy there for Muminka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Muminka throws a hook but Pakkinen blocks it.
Pakkinen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Muminka.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pakkinen dodges the punch combination from Muminka.

Pakkinen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pakkinen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Pakkinen tries to control but Muminka wriggling away.
Pakkinen is really struggling to control Muminka but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Muminka tries to hold on but Pakkinen postures up.
Pakkinen prevents Muminka from getting the reversal.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Pakkinen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Muminka can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Pakkinen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Muminka is surviving well by controlling Pakkinen's body position as best he can.
Pakkinen throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Pakkinen avoids the attempt from Muminka to control.
Muminka is in all sorts of trouble here.

Muminka tries to improve his position but instead Pakkinen has taken his back!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Muminka tries to escape but Pakkinen has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Muminka manages to reverse the position and now he's in Pakkinen's guard. Nice work there by Muminka.
Muminka is looking to stand up but Pakkinen won't let him.

Pakkinen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Muminka wants to control from the top but Pakkinen keeps moving.
Muminka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pakkinen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Pakkinen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Muminka misses with a jab, cross combination.

Muminka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pakkinen's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Pakkinen has his foot on Muminka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Muminka works his way back into a safe position though.
Muminka wants to control from the top but Pakkinen keeps moving.

Pakkinen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Muminka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tatus Muminka just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Muminka tries to clinch but Pakkinen moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Muminka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Muminka controls the position.
Muminka creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pakkinen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Pakkinen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Muminka not doing much here.

Muminka thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Muminka seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Muminka postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Pakkinen to stand up.

Muminka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Muminka looking to control but Pakkinen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Pakkinen manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Muminka performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tatus Muminka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Muminka shoots in and bounces Pakkinen off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Pakkinen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Muminka's guard.
Muminka wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Muminka tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Muminka is pulling down on Pakkinen's head. It's preventing any offense from Pakkinen, at least for the moment.

Muminka misses with an uppercut. Pakkinen saw that one coming.

Pakkinen just misses with a punch to the body.

and Muminka counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Pakkinen falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
