Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Syd Datsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horton Hoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Datsik kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Let The Rhythm Hit Em. Syd Datsik has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Syd Datsik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Horton Hoo!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoo throws a chopping leg kick but Datsik manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Datsik pushes Hoo up against the cage in a clinch.
Hoo tries for a takedown. No joy.
Datsik lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hoo backwards.
Datsik throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Datsik throws a punch but it's blocked by Hoo.
Hoo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Datsik is pressed up against the cage. Hoo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Datsik down to the mat. Datsik avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hoo slips a jab from Datsik.
Hoo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Datsik swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Datsik jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hoo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hoo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Datsik drops Hoo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hoo looks back up at him and smiles so Datsik waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hoo is rocked!
It looks like Horton Hoo has been cut.
Hoo get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Hoo stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Datsik runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Syd Datsik!
