Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacob Herman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Solid Snake!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herman avoids the head kick by Snake.
Snake tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Herman defends well and Snake ends up having to push Herman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Snake with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Snake looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Herman.
Snake pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Snake is looking to clinch but Herman is avoiding it.
Herman drives through and clinches with Snake against the cage.
Snake stalls.
Snake tries to break free but Herman pushes him back against the cage.
Herman has a couple of punches blocked by Snake.
Snake lands an elbow just above Herman 's eye.
Herman misses with a short punch on the inside.
Snake breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Herman tries a head kick but it misses.
Herman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Snake changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Herman tries to avoid it but Snake manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Herman to the ground. Herman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Snake looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Herman is fending him off so far but Snake persists. Nope, Herman circles away and we're back to standing.
Jacob Herman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Solid Snake.
Snake looks winded!
Snake avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Snake decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Herman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Herman is on top in guard.
Herman drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Herman as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Snake screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Herman! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Jacob Herman!
Solid Snake spoke after the fight, saying 'fuck the judges, they screwed me, I want a rematch! This should be considered a no contest, I'm gonna kill yo ass in a rematch!'.
