Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Guerilla! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guerilla is looking to clinch. Guerilla moves into range and clinches up with Daniels. Daniels pulls guard effortlessly. Daniels is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Guerilla defends well. Guerilla is looking to stand up but Daniels won't let him. Daniels has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Guerilla can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Daniels working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Guerilla doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Guerilla manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Guerilla tries to stand but Daniels is controlling from the bottom. Guerilla really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daniels. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Daniels throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerilla wants to stand but Daniels is controlling his posture from full guard. Daniels really is a fat lump. Guerilla got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daniels has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Guerilla has managed to get both his arms back between Daniels's legs - danger averted. Daniels working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Guerilla doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Guerilla manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Guerilla has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Daniels is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Guerilla defends well. Guerilla won't allow Daniels to sweep him here. Daniels escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Guerilla gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Guerilla wants to stand but Daniels has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Daniels looking for a sweep. Not yet Daniels, not yet. Daniels throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Guerilla would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Daniels is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Guerilla defends well. Daniels has a closed guard, preventing Guerilla from standing up.

Guerilla tries to close the distance and clinch up but Daniels swats him away and circles back towards the center. Guerilla has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Guerilla tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Guerilla with a jab. Guerilla is looking to clinch but Daniels is avoiding it.

Daniels shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Guerilla but Guerilla pushes him off and we're back to square one. Guerilla shoots in but no luck this time.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Guerilla dives in for a single leg takedown but Daniels sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Daniels tries to work over Guerilla's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Daniels tries to score a body lock takedown but Guerilla shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Guerilla stalling in the clinch but Daniels improves position. Daniels wants to take the fight to the mat but Guerilla manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Guerilla breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Guerilla connects with a right hand. Daniels shakes it off. Guerilla wants to clinch. Daniels shoots in for a double leg but Guerilla sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guerilla uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Daniels has time to react. Donk. Guerilla catches Daniels right on the button with a cross. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Guerilla closes the distance and clinches. Daniels tries to score a body lock takedown but Guerilla shows good agility there to stay on his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joey Guerilla showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Connie Daniels's cut. That's time! Daniels's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Guerilla dives in and grabs Daniels's left leg, looking for a takedown. Daniels pushes down on Guerilla's head and hops out. Guerilla throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Guerilla fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Guerilla fails with an attempt to clinch.
Guerilla shoots in looking for a takedown. Daniels tries to sprawl out of it but Guerilla keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Daniels manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Guerilla is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Daniels shoots in for a takedown but Guerilla shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Joey Guerilla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guerilla goes for a double leg but Daniels avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Daniels continues to drive forward. Daniels has Guerilla pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Daniels pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Guerilla tumbling to the mat - Daniels dives into Guerilla's guard. Daniels prevents Guerilla from getting back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guerilla keeping moving, preventing Daniels from controlling successfully. Guerilla working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Daniels.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Daniels closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Guerilla quickly recovers to half guard. Guerilla wants to get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Joey Guerilla comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Guerilla has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
