Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Polish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polish comes to the cage accompanied by Ice Cube - Today was a Good Day. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Polish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ronaldo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a lazy right hand but Polish sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Silva lands a leg kick that knocks Polish off balance momentarily.

Polish shoots in and gets a takedown into Silva's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Polish is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Polish really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Polish drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Polish jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Polish seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silva for as long as he can get away with.

Polish decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silva, up you get!
James Polish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva misses the jab.
Polish looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Silva throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

James Polish is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Polish looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Polish moves out of range easily.
Polish shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Silva darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Silva throws out a loose jab but Polish uses good head movement to avoid it.
Polish takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Polish shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.

Polish drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Polish as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Silva screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Polish! Nice submission victory there!
