Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rick Rude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jay Tyler!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tyler at a distance.
Tyler has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Rude is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Rude swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rude takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rude loads up on a big right hand but Tyler slips the punch.
Tyler scores with a nice head shot.
Rude throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tyler.
Tyler tries to clinch there but Rude circles away.
Rude throws a predictable looking body shot
and Rude takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tyler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rude moves away.
Rude missing with a left hand there. Tyler was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tyler takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Nice defenses there by Rude.
Rude fails to land with a series of punches.
We've been told by Rude's head coaches at LOD Gym Now with StandUP that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Rude digs a good hook to Tyler's body.
Rude rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tyler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tyler lands a slapping body shot.
Rude swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Tyler counters with a stiff right hand.
Rude slips a straight right by Tyler.
Rude shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tyler eats them both and turns towards Rude to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Rude throws a combination that misses
and Tyler counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Rick Rude seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Tyler counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rude throws a lazy uppercut
and Rude takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tyler doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The crowd cheers as Rude lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tyler doesn't seem phased though.
Tyler is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rude had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Tyler moves into the clinch.

Tyler tries to circle away but Rude has him pinned against the cage.
Rude is trying to force a seperation but Tyler has the dominant position.
Tyler can't break the clinch.
Rude blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Tyler wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rude has him pressed against the cage.
Tyler tries to break the clinch but Rude is controlling the position.
A head punch on the inside from Tyler fails to land.
Rude's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tyler tries to move into range but Rude moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Rude swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Tyler counters with a straight right hand.
Jay Tyler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tyler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rude moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rude sizes up Tyler with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Tyler misses with an uppercut
and Rude counters with a left right combination that sends Tyler crashing to the mat - Rude wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Tyler out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Rude!
Rick Rude gave a mention to GREEN!160 in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
