The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parsons shoots in for a takedown but Dos Santos shows good takedown defense.
Dos Santos clinches with his opponent.
Parsons tries to pull guard but Dos Santos forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Dos Santos.
Dos Santos's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Dos Santos lands a nice knee to the body.
Parsons tries to pull guard but Dos Santos holds him up against the cage and eventually Parsons drops back down to his feet.
