Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruderalis turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ruderalis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Giovanni fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ruderalis sprawls well initially but Giovanni persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Giovanni gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Ruderalis slips a jab and a cross from Giovanni.
Giovanni avoids the body shot from Ruderalis.
Giovanni darts in and clinches Ruderalis up against the cage.
Giovanni gets control of Ruderalis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Giovanni will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Giovanni might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
