Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carl Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Carl Allen ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Edgar Poe! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen fails with the takedown. Allen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Poe listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Allen tries for a takedown but Poe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nice combo by Poe! Oh, that's hurt him - Allen falls to the canvas and Poe follows him into side control.
It looks like Carl Allen has been cut. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poe wants to control but Allen is keeping him busy. Allen is looking for a sweep. Allen is not content to let Poe control the position. Poe controls the position. Allen wants to control but Poe postures up. Allen gets back to half guard. Allen wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poe decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Poe digs a good hook to Allen 's body.
Allen is breathing heavily. Poe throws a head kick that misses. Poe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Allen shoots in for a double leg but Poe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Allen . That's going to take a lot out of him. Some wild striking there from Poe.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poe catches Allen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Poe cracks Allen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Poe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Nice defenses there by Allen . Poe fails to land with a series of punches.
Poe lands with a nice body punch. Edgar Poe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Poe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Poe!

Allen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Poe checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Poe scores with a jab. Allen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Poe. Poe tries a head kick but it misses.
Poe cracks Allen with a right hand to the side of the head. Allen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Poe looks to land a left hand but Allen moved out of range nicely. Allen shoots in looking for a takedown. Poe tries to sprawl out of it but Allen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Poe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Poe instigates a clinch. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Allen . He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Knees in the clinch landing for Poe.
Allen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Poe gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Poe lands a damaging elbow. Poe lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Poe landing some nice looking knees to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Poe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Allen catches Poe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Poe clinches. Poe prevents a takedown attempt there.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Poe lands an elbow that stopped Allen in his tracks for a moment. Allen is trying to drag Poe to the mat but Poe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Poe is stalling here.
Poe gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Allen .

Poe connects with a nasty looking knee right to Allen 's face.
Poe lands a shot to the body. Poe missing with knees to the body.
Allen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Poe prevents it.
Allen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Allen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Poe circles away. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Allen shoots for a takedown but Poe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Poe gets a clinch. Allen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Poe lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Allen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Poe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. A short right from Poe. Poe lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Poe comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Poe slows down the pace here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Allen keeping busy on the bottom but Poe has passed one foot through into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edgar Poe dominated that round. The cut man is working on Carl Allen 's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Poe connects with a jab. Allen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Poe is fending him off so far but Allen persists. Nope, Poe circles away and we're back to standing. Allen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Poe is trying to control the position but Allen postures up. Allen wants to control from the top but Poe keeps moving. Poe keeping full guard, as Allen tries to pass. Poe is working an open guard so Allen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Allen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Poe as he avoids it easily. Allen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Poe to score with a decent uppercut. Poe catches Allen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Edgar Poe seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Poe jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Poe drops Allen with a nice combination! Poe dives into Allen 's guard, looking to finish!
Allen is rocked! Poe gets to his feet. Allen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Oh Allen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Poe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Allen on the side of the head. Allen seems to have got his legs back now. Allen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Poe. This has been an exciting period of action! Poe throws a head kick that half lands.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Poe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Allen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Poe looking to control.
Poe wants to stand and escape but Allen is having none of it. Allen stands and steps away. Poe gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Allen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Poe looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Poe! Allen tries to improve position but can't. Allen struggling a bit here. Poe gets to mount! Allen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Allen is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Allen is working hard here to advance position. Poe trying to control but he's not successful this time. Allen is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Poe avoids the attempt from Allen to control. Poe wants to control the pace but Allen is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edgar Poe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Carl Allen 's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Carl Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Allen fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Poe doesn't manage to clinch there - Allen circles away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Allen tries to buck Poe off but Poe is having none of it. Allen can't do much from the bottom here. Allen is looking to regain half guard here but Poe keeps moving and retains side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Allen walks into a stiff left hand from Poe. Poe throws a jab when Allen was well out of range. Allen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Allen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Allen stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Poe takes the fight into the clinch. Poe stalling in the clinch but Allen improves position. Allen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Poe prevents Allen from breaking the clinch. Poe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Poe slips under a jab from Allen . Jab by Poe. Allen tries to clinch but Poe is having none of it. Poe misses with a straight right. Poe moves in looking to clinch but Allen pushes him off. Allen shoots in and bounces Poe off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Poe has his hands on Allen 's head, controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poe keeping moving, preventing Allen from controlling successfully. Poe striking off his back but it's not causing Allen any problems. Poe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Allen tries to free his leg and advance position but Poe is retaining full guard. Allen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Poe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Allen has Poe in his guard. Allen is trying to control the position but Poe postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Allen working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Poe has passed into half guard!
Allen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Poe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Allen keeps working. Carl Allen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Allen looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Allen wants to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Edgar Poe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Poe winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
