Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gjergj Kastrioti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands with a hook. Kastrioti tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Silva throws a good cross that connects.
Kastrioti pushes Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Kastrioti jumps guard but Silva stands there with Kastrioti around his waist. Kastrioti gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Silva is trying to push Kastrioti away but Kastrioti has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kastrioti avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva is looking to take this one to the mat.
Kastrioti has Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kastrioti changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Kastrioti manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kastrioti shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kastrioti dives in for a single leg takedown but Silva sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kastrioti tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Kastrioti wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Kastrioti passes Silva's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Kastrioti's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kastrioti is defended easily by Silva.
Kastrioti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Kastrioti.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kastrioti. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Silva digs a right hand underneath Kastrioti's ribcage. Kastrioti let out a lung full of air as it connected.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kastrioti accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Silva is pulling down on Kastrioti's head. It's preventing any offense from Kastrioti, at least for the moment.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Junior Silva was stalling too much, according to the referee.

A short body shot lands from Silva as the two fighters clinch.

Silva doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

enabling Silva to counter with a crisp jab.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Junior Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Silva swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kastrioti shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.

Silva feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kastriotis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kastrioti thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kastrioti walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Kastrioti limp body while Silva jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Junior Silva!
