3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Trejo! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De La Hoya throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. De La Hoya throws a right hand that Trejo ducks under and follows up with a left that Trejo also avoids with ease. Trejo dives in and grabs De La Hoya's left leg, looking for a takedown. De La Hoya pushes down on Trejo's head and hops out. De La Hoya clinches with his opponent.
Trejo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. De La Hoya is trying to keep an underhook but Trejo manages to get the takedown into half guard. De La Hoya is trying to stand.

We're going to have a standup here because Oskar De La Hoya wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Trejo has a takedown stuffed. De La Hoya fails to land with a series of punches.

That was a close round but I would say that Oskar De La Hoya will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. De La Hoya trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Oskar De La Hoya. De La Hoya slaps away a takedown attempt from Trejo, before circling back to the center of the mat. No luck for Trejo with that takedown attempt. Danny Trejo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

De La Hoya lands a jab. Trejo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Trejo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. De La Hoya is not content to let Trejo control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De La Hoya wants to get back to his feet but Trejo is dominant here and he's now got De La Hoya's back! Trejo looking for the RNC. De La Hoya controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Trejo trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Trejo is riding his opponent, not letting De La Hoya buck him off. De La Hoya has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Trejo controlling from the back.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Danny Trejo. I think Trejo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
