Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Byron Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Malone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Byron Sanders! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders slips a straight right by Malone. Sanders needs to keep his hands up - Malone had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Byron Sanders has been cut. Sanders closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Malone prevents a takedown attempt there.
Sanders keeps control of Malone as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Sanders tries for a takedown but Malone manages to get underhooks.
Malone tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sanders smiles and moves away.
Malone throws a hook to the side of Sanders's head but Sanders sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sanders bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Malone lands a nice shot that snaps Sanders's head back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Malone throws out the jab. Malone drops Sanders with a big left hand and mounts him. Sanders is in big trouble!
Sanders is rocked! Malone jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sanders manages to avoid the submission attempt. Sanders is still in real trouble! Can Malone finish him? Malone stands up. Sanders seems to have recovered his senses. Malone moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Sanders goes down! Can Malone finish him!?
That has opened up Byron Sanders's cut even more. Malone tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanders is retaining full guard. Sanders throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy. Malone is looking to stand up but Sanders won't let him. Malone stands up from guard. Let's bang! Sanders ducks under a wild hook from Malone.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Malone or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanders which made him look bad. Malone is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Malone connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sanders's hands. Malone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Malone throws a hook but Sanders avoids it easily. Malone looks to land a left hand but Sanders moved out of range nicely. Sanders uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Malone. Sanders blocks a jab. Sanders gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Sanders taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Sanders tries to score a body lock takedown but Malone shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sam Malone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Byron Sanders. Malone drags the fight down to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanders makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Sanders distracts Malone with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Sanders wants to control from the top but Malone keeps moving. Sanders with a nice head shot there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Malone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Malone is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Malone looking for a sweep. Not yet Malone, not yet. Malone throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sanders working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Malone's head. Sanders working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanders with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sanders wants to control from the top but Malone keeps moving. Sanders is working Malone over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Malone is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sanders content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Sanders wants to control from the top but Malone keeps moving. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Malone not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Malone working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Sanders has passed into half guard!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanders thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Malone dominated that round. The cut man is working on Byron Sanders's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sanders takes the fight into the clinch. Sanders is working for takedown but Malone is calmly controlling the position for now. Sanders has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Malone is trying to keep an underhook but Sanders manages to get the takedown into half guard. Malone is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Sanders pulls his head out easily. Malone is trying to stand back up but Sanders is controlling him
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sanders working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sanders takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Malone is trying to stand back up but Sanders is controlling him

That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders winds up and cracks Malone with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sanders is keen to just control but Malone is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanders seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Malone looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sanders lands a nice short elbow. Sanders is nestled in close to Malone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Malone is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sanders scores with a couple of nice shots. Sanders wants to take a breather but Malone is having none of it. That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Malone throws a body punch but Sanders moves out of range. Malone throws an overhand right that lands on Sanders's shoulder, as Sanders tries to avoid the shot. Nice defenses there by Sanders. Malone pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Sanders shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Malone's guard. Sanders with a flurry of punches that miss. Sanders throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sanders postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sanders must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Malone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Malone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sanders gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sanders chips away with some ground and pound.

Sanders has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Malone to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Sanders is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Malone pulls down on the head and he's put Sanders to sleep! This one is all over!
