Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Ardona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalevi Holger Routakirves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Routakirves has chosen Miami Nights 1984 - Elevator of Love as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalevi Holger Routakirves!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Damien Edna and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardona scores with a nice right hand.
Ardona has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Routakirves shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ardona as he avoids it easily.
Routakirves takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ardona throws a hook but Routakirves avoids it easily.
Ardona throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Routakirves has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ardona finds it's way round the side to connect with Routakirves's head.
Routakirves moves out of range of the body kick from Ardona.
Routakirves shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ardona but Ardona pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ardona throws a looping overhand right but Routakirves ducks down to avoid it.
A swing and a miss from Ardona.
James Ardona seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Routakirves moves away from the strike by Ardona.
Ardona lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Routakirves stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ardona.
Ardona lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Routakirves tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ardona sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Routakirves somewhat.
James Ardona has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalevi Holger Routakirves.
Ardona misses with a double jab.

Routakirves has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Routakirves takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sloppy strikes from Ardona. Those never looked like landing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Routakirves is defended easily by Ardona.
Ardona scores with a nice head shot.
