Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Daley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hans Wiener!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wiener sprawls well initially but Daley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Daley is working for a kimura but Wiener is defending it quite comfortably.
Daley tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Daley takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wiener is looking to control Daley's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wiener avoid being mounted?
Daley scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Wiener is pressing down on Daley's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Wiener keeping moving, preventing Daley from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Daley preventing the sweep.
Daley forces his way into half guard.

Daley is trying to work for a kimura but Wiener is defending well.
Daley tries to pass to full mount but Wiener defends it.

Daley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wiener defends it well.
Daley is breathing heavily.
Wiener moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Wiener wants to sweep but no luck.
Wiener is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Wiener is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wiener thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Daley trying to control but Wiener is working from the bottom.
Wiener controls Daley momentarily but Daley frees himself.
Daley trying to control the position from guard on top but Wiener is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Wiener looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Wiener is working for a submission of some sort.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Daley wants to control but Wiener is keeping busy.
Daley regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Wiener.
Daley looking for a sweep. Not yet Daley, not yet.
Wiener throwing strikes from guard but Daley blocks nicely.
Wiener stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Daley trying to keep a closed guard but Wiener is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Wiener shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wiener has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Wiener prevents Daley from getting the reversal.
Daley holds on to Wiener as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Daley can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Daley will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Wiener looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Daley pushes a forearm under Wiener's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wiener is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Paul Daley!
