Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laimonas Zemaitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Longbottom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zemaitis comes to the cage accompanied by Queen - 'Don't Stop Me Now. Longbottom has chosen Jedi Mind Tricks - Heavy Metal Kings as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Longbottom!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zemaitis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Longbottom to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Longbottom not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Zemaitis has his hands on Longbottom's head, controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Longbottom working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Longbottom throws a big right hand that misses.

Zemaitis controls Longbottom momentarily but Longbottom frees himself.

Longbottom is pushing down on Zemaitis's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zemaitis is fighting to maintain full guard but Longbottom has managed to sneak the leg through.
Zemaitis is not content to let Longbottom control the position.

Longbottom looks to land a strike but Zemaitis avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Longbottom looking to sit in guard and control but Zemaitis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Longbottom can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jim Longbottom wasn't active enough on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zemaitis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Longbottom moves out of range of the body kick.
Longbottom looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Zemaitis wants to get back to full guard.
Longbottom thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zemaitis's head.
Longbottom is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zemaitis is just riding it out for now. Longbottom eventually gives up the hold.

Zemaitis throws a body punch but Longbottom moves out of range.

Zemaitis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Longbottom changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zemaitis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Zemaitis prevents Longbottom from improving position.
Longbottom is trying to ground and pound but Zemaitis uses the momentary lack of control by Longbottom to regain half guard.
Zemaitis looks like he's trying to stand up.
Longbottom sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Zemaitis defending well though.
Zemaitis is not content to let Longbottom control the position.
Longbottom is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Longbottom connects with a nice short shot to Zemaitis's temple.
Zemaitis is refusing to be controlled, as Longbottom sits in half guard.
Longbottom is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Zemaitis sees it coming and defends easily.
Zemaitis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Longbottom.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Longbottom lands a nice short elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Longbottom lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Zemaitis gets back to full guard.

Longbottom decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Zemaitis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Zemaitis scores with a head kick.
Zemaitis looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Zemaitis throws a combination that misses
and Longbottom counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Longbottom cracks Zemaitis with a big elbow.
Longbottom looks up at the clock and then as Zemaitis takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Longbottom smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
A big shot lands for Longbottom! That's hurt Zemaitis! Will he recover? Longbottom fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
