Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fisher comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Twinkie in a ding dong world kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Thomas Hearns has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hearns crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fisher - the referee stops the clock and Hearns gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fisher. Hearns manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hearns lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fisher circles away quickly and effectively.
Fisher shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hearns as he avoids it easily.

Fisher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Fisher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hearns tries to avoid it but Fisher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hearns to the ground. Hearns escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to George Fisher.
Well Hearns has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
