Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glen Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Gee Yio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Glen Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee Gee Yio! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gee Yio with a lazy takedown attempt so Burns counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Burns with a flurry of punches that miss. Burns really is a fat lump. Burns postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gee Yio working for a triangle but Burns defends it easily.
Burns content to stall in guard here. Gee Yio can't keep his opponent in guard - Burns advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Burns seems content to control. Gee Yio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gee Yio actively working from the bottom here. Burns looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Gee Yio trying to hold on to Burns's head to control him but Burns postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns working Gee Yio over with strikes. Gee Yio is looking for a sweep. Burns is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Burns is figuring out what he wants to do next. Burns is looking for a kimura but Gee Yio is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Burns to get the leverage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gee Yio tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Burns has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Gee Yio tries to lock up and control but Burns gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns with shots to the head and body - Gee Yio looks very uncomfortable down there. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gee Yio is desperately trying to improve his position but Burns has a good base and remains in mount. Burns controlling the position easily from mount. Gee Yio is in a horrible position here. Burns smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Gee Yio is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gee Yio sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Burns missing with the ground and pound from half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gee Yio is doing well to control the position and prevent Burns from advancing to side control. Burns has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Burns thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gee Yio's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Glen Burns dominated that round. The cut man is working on Glen Burns's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gee Yio just misses with a punch to the body.
Gee Yio fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Burns has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Lee Gee Yio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gee Yio lands a nice leg kick that just misses Burns's sensitive parts. Gee Yio moves into the clinch successfully.
Burns has Gee Yio pushed against the cage. Gee Yio is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Burns is defending well. Burns gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Burns has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gee Yio is trying to keep an underhook but Burns manages to get the takedown into half guard. Gee Yio has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Burns is working away from the top position though. Burns throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gee Yio taking some punishment here, with Burns in his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burns wants to free his trapped foot but Gee Yio is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gee Yio is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Burns scores with a couple of nice shots. Burns looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gee Yio with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Gee Yio on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Burns not landing any meaningful shots this time. Gee Yio trying to control but Burns postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gee Yio is trying to control but Burns manages to pass to mount!
Burns working away from the top, dropping strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Burns lands a heavy elbow. Burns unloading with bombs! Burns is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gee Yio can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gee Yio is bucking up trying to escape but Burns cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Gee Yio is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gee Yio doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Burns content just to control the position here. Burns fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Burns connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Burns but it's paid off an Gee Yio is forced to tap! Nice work by Burns.
