The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindros takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lindros throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lindros throws a low kick, looking for Faber's leg but Faber calmly moves out of range.
Lindros throws the kick towards the body but Faber avoids it.
Lindros has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Faber takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Faber misses with a low kick.

Lindros slips under a jab from Faber.
Lindros throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Faber has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Meats Slaughter House in the buildup to the fight.

Lindros pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Faber misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lindros, right into the meat.
Lindros throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lindros connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Faber looks to land a right hand but Lindros moved out of range.
Faber scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Lindros pounces like a tiger and cracks Faber with a vicious hook! Faber is down but not out! Lindros follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Eric Lindros spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
