Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Templar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corbett has chosen Men at Work - Down Under as his entrance music. Wesley Templar is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Wesley Templar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Nathan Corbett! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Templar avoids the body shot from Corbett.
Corbett closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Wesley Templar has been cut. Nice takedown defense from Corbett. No joy for Templar on that attempt. Templar throws a jab but it's blocked by Corbett. Corbett lands a slapping body shot.
Corbett uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Templar. Templar walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. This has been an exciting period of action! Corbett throws a shot from downtown. Templar moves away and avoids it. A slow jab from Templar misses its intended target. Corbett misses with an uppercut. Templar saw that one coming. Corbett misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Templar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Templar trying to pass the guard but Corbett defending well. Corbett trying to control from the bottom.

Corbett is staying active underneath Templar, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Templar on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Templar lands a jab to the nose. Templar swings for the body but Corbett moves out of range.

Templar misses the shot to the body. Corbett swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Corbett takes a shot right to the bread basket. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Templar just misses with a punch to the body.

Nathan Corbett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Corbett looks to land a left hand but Templar moved out of range nicely. Corbett lands a head kick!

Corbett throws a hook but Templar blocks it. Templar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Corbett tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Templar is in Corbett's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corbett utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Templar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Templar connects with a couple of short punches. Templar working some strikes from top position. Corbett has control of Templar's left arm, preventing Templar from doing any damage. Corbett wants to sweep here but Templar controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corbett trying to control the position.
Templar is working Corbett over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Templar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Corbett looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Templar passes Corbett's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Templar throwing shots but Corbett is blocking nicely.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Templar connects with a nice short shot to Corbett's temple. Corbett makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Corbett. Corbett is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Templar defends well. Corbett keeping moving, preventing Templar from controlling successfully. Corbett looking to control.
Templar tries to free his leg and advance position but Corbett is retaining full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Corbett trying to control the position.

A close round but Nathan Corbett will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Wesley Templar's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It looks like Nathan Corbett has been cut. Corbett tries to move into range but Templar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Templar ducks under a wild hook from Corbett. Templar avoids a punch combination nicely.

Templar wants to control from the top but Corbett keeps moving. Templar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Corbett swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Corbett is looking for a sweep. Templar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are battling for position here. Corbett manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Templar stands up over Corbett, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Wesley Templar dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Corbett throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A swing and a miss from Corbett. Templar is looking to wear down Corbett with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Templar connects with the punch. Templar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Templar lands a nice short elbow. Templar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Corbett keeps working. Templar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Corbett is trying to get back to full guard. Templar is nestled in close to Corbett, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Templar is pressing down on Corbett's thigh, looking to free his foot. Corbett is holding on for now. Corbett looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ground and pound from Templar. Templar is looking to take a break and control but Corbett is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Templar scores with a couple of good hammerfists. This has been an exciting period of action! Templar is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Corbett takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Corbett wants to control but Templar is keeping busy and won't allow it. Templar working over Corbett with some ground and pound. Corbett looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Templar throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Corbett to regain full guard. Corbett looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Templar lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Corbett is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Templar is aware though and is defending well. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Templar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Corbett is trying to hold Templar in close to prevent damage but Templar has managed to pass into half guard.
Templar is looking for a kimura but Corbett is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Templar to get the leverage. Corbett taking some punishment here, with Templar in his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Templar missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Wesley Templar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Templar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Corbett is looking to improve his position.
Templar takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Corbett tries to roll over but Templar keeps him under control. Corbett on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Templar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Templar breaks from Corbett's wrist control and lands an elbow. Corbett is still in real trouble! Can Templar finish him? Templar working for a guillotine from mount but Corbett is in no mood to give up. Templar cracks Corbett with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
