Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Shadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Miller might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Deftones - Change. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Shadows throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Shadows lands a nice shot to the body.
Miller smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Max Shadows seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Shadows avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Shadows catches Miller with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Shadows gets caught flat footed, as Miller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shadows swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Shadows has his feet on Miller's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Miller shoots for a takedown but Shadows saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Shadows is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Oooh a lovely combination from Shadows sends Miller down but not out. Shadows dives into side control looking to finish.
You can see the frustration on Miller's face as Shadows controls the position.
Let's hope that Shadows has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
