And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Upper Cut!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoench throws a head kick that misses.
Cut misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cut avoids a kick to the body.
Cut lands a head kick. Hoench smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Daniel Hoench has been cut.
Hoench misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cut throws a right and a left that both miss.
A head kick from Hoench lands but Cut takes it in his stride.
Hoench scores with a spinning back kick!
Hoench tries to land a front kick but Cut steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cut uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hoench.
Cut looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hoench throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hoench.
Cut looks winded!
Hoench explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Hoench throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hoench! Cut is out on his feet! Hoench rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Cut is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Cut is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Hoench!
After winning the bout, Daniel Hoench thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
