The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cummings tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Danares manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Danares, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Oooooh!!! Danares has knocked Cummings down with a huge combo! Danares steps away and waves a wobbly Cummings back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Cummings is rocked!

It looks like Ricardo Cummings has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Danares throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Oh Cummings is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Danares is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Cummings flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cummings is out cold! Danares holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
