Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vaughn Melton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawler has chosen i hear voices as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Vaughn Melton has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Melton as he avoids it easily.
Lawler moves to clinch but Melton breaks away
and Melton counters with a good, hard body kick but Lawler shrugs it off.
Lawler tries to clinch up but Melton circles away and keeps his distance.
Lawler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Melton counters with a nice body kick.
Lawler fails with the takedown
and Melton counters with a body kick that stops Lawler in his tracks momentarily.
Vaughn Melton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie Lawler.
Lawler has his takedown stuffed
and Melton finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Melton.
Melton looks up at the clock and then as Lawler takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Melton smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lawler trying to control but Melton flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Lawler covers up after that shot from Melton.
Melton lands a shot to the body.
Melton really is a fat lump.
Melton working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Lawler is doing well to defend. Melton seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Lawler is forced to tap and this one is over!
