Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mitchel Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Gemson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gemson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gemson has closed the distance and engaged Franklin in a clinch.
Gemson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Franklin.
Franklin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gemson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Gemson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Franklin is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Gemson off. It looks like it's working - Gemson slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Franklin displaying calm under pressure there.

Franklin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gemson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Franklin is trying to defend but Gemson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

I would just about give that final round to David Gemson.
Well Gemson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
