Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Flett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Flett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Dorian! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flett gets a takedown into half guard. Dorian is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Flett pulls his head out easily. Dorian is looking to improve his position.
Flett lands with a punch from half guard. Flett seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Flett wants to take a breather but Dorian is having none of it. Dorian is trying to get back to full guard. Flett trying to control from half guard but Dorian is working away. Flett landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Dorian is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Flett's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Flett's back! Flett is trying to break free.
Dorian working for the choke. Flett just trying to survive but Dorian is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Flett's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Flett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dorian is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Flett manages to reverse the position and now he's in Dorian's guard. Nice work there by Flett.
Dorian keeping moving, preventing Flett from controlling successfully. Flett looking to pass the guard. Flett slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dorian is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Flett keeping full guard, as Dorian tries to pass. Dorian thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dorian advances to half guard. Dorian looks gassed! Dorian trying to pass the guard but Flett defending well. Dorian seems to be looking for submissions.
Flett regains full guard. Nicely done. Flett wants to sweep but no luck. Flett working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dorian doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Flett is tightening it up a little... Dorian has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dorian reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dorian taps out! nice BJJ there by Flett!
