Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roddy Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Reinhardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piper comes to the cage accompanied by Real Men Wear Skirts. Reinhardt has chosen On To The Next One as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reinhardt misses the shot to the body.
Piper has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Steel Penn/Heavy Hands Gym in the buildup to the fight.
A head kick misses from Reinhardt.
Reinhardt connects with a high kick.
Piper moves out of range of the body kick.
Piper just misses with a punch to the body.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Reinhardt.
Piper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Piper tries to bench press Reinhardt off him but Reinhardt keeps the position.
Piper wants to control but Reinhardt postures up.

Piper is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Reinhardt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Reinhardt's back!
Piper is trying to stick to Reinhardt's back but Reinhardt is turning into Piper. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Piper's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Reinhardt.

Piper is looking for a triangle but Reinhardt pushes his legs off easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reinhardt is bucking up trying to escape but Piper cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Piper lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Reinhardt wants to control but Piper is having none of it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reinhardt is squirming around, avoiding Piper's attempts to control the action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reinhardt is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Reinhardt can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Victor Reinhardt will probably get the nod.

Reinhardt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Piper has Reinhardt flattened out and is raining down punches.

Piper is loading up with his shots from the back and Reinhardt is in big trouble! Reinhardt taps out to strikes and the fight is over!
