Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Gregory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Vozzmeer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregory comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick Murpheys - I'm shipping up to Boston. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Gregory! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Vozzmeer! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gregory pushes Vozzmeer up against the cage in a clinch. Vozzmeer has had enough of the clinch but Gregory keeps him there for the moment. Vozzmeer is trying to break free. Vozzmeer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gregory just stands there and leans against the cage. Gregory is trying to stall.
Gregory wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vozzmeer has him pressed against the cage. Gregory pulls guard. Gregory not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vozzmeer trying to control the position from guard on top but Gregory is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gregory is trying to keep Vozzmeer in close.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vozzmeer decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gregory, up you get! Vozzmeer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gregory fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gregory moves in looking to clinch but Vozzmeer pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gregory drives through with a takedown into guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Vozzmeer holds on and takes a little breather. Gregory loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gregory could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Vozzmeer pulls Gregory in close to prevent any damage. Vozzmeer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gregory decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Vozzmeer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Gregory is trying to get back to half guard. Gregory is breathing heavily. Vozzmeer tries to move into full mount but can't pass Gregory's legs. Vozzmeer staying calm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gregory tries to escape but Vozzmeer is in control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gregory is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Vozzmeer's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Well, if Vozzmeer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Despite being in the dominant position, Brandon Vozzmeer just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gregory fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gregory tries to clinch up but Vozzmeer circles away and keeps his distance. No luck for Vozzmeer with that takedown attempt. Vozzmeer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gregory sprawls well initially but Vozzmeer persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gregory throws a strike from the bottom but Vozzmeer passes into side control!
Vozzmeer throwing strikes but Gregory manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Vozzmeer dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gregory is looking to clinch. Vozzmeer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gregory fails with the takedown. Vozzmeer lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Gregory fails in his attempt to clinch. Gregory fails with the takedown and Vozzmeer counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Gregory. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vozzmeer feints and as Gregory raises his hands in defense, Vozzmeer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Vozzmeer gets to his feet. Gregory looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Gregory avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vozzmeer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gregory to the mat! Gregory manages to get full guard. Gregory might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vozzmeer stands and steps away. Gregory gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Vozzmeer scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gregory is looking to regain half guard here but Vozzmeer keeps moving and retains side control. Vozzmeer cracks Gregory with a big right hand but Gregory just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Vozzmeer looks up at the clock and then as Gregory takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Vozzmeer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Vozzmeer tries for a kimura but Gregory is defending well. Vozzmeer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vozzmeer is working Gregory over with some ground and pound from side control. Brandon Vozzmeer has got the better of the ground game so far. You can see the frustration on Gregory's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Gregory is trying to escape the position but Vozzmeer is controlling the position. Gregory tries to get back to half guard but can't. Vozzmeer decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gregory tries for a takedown but Vozzmeer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Vozzmeer rushes Gregory and presses him up against the cage. Vozzmeer pulls guard. Vozzmeer is pulling down on Gregory's head. It's preventing any offense from Gregory, at least for the moment. Vozzmeer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gregory. Gregory wants to control from the top but Vozzmeer keeps moving. Gregory is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Vozzmeer is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Vozzmeer pulls Gregory in close to prevent any damage. Vozzmeer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gregory's guard. Vozzmeer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Brandon Vozzmeer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Vozzmeer throws a body kick that misses. Gregory gets a clinch. Gregory breaks from the clinch.
Vozzmeer throws a sloppy head kick and Gregory moves out of range easily. Gregory shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Vozzmeer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vozzmeer. Vozzmeer controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Vozzmeer stands up from Gregory's guard - Vozzmeer perhaps looking for a knockout. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A combination from Vozzmeer does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gregory fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vozzmeer, pushing him back against the cage. Gregory is looking to break free of the clinch but Vozzmeer has double underhooks. Gregory is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Vozzmeer is keeping busy. Vozzmeer jumps guard and drags Gregory to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Gregory is fighting to break Vozzmeer's control of his arms but Vozzmeer is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Vozzmeer has his feet on Gregory's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Vozzmeer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gregory's guard. Gregory manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vozzmeer is working to get back to half guard.
Gregory stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Gregory with a lazy takedown attempt and Vozzmeer counters with a nice double leg into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gregory is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Vozzmeer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gregory works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Vozzmeer trying to control the position from guard on top but Gregory is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gregory throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Gregory is trying to control the position but Vozzmeer postures up. Vozzmeer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Gregory utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Vozzmeer with a lazy takedown attempt and Gregory holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Vozzmeer misses with a punch to the body.
Gregory breaks the clinch.
Gregory tries to clinch but Vozzmeer moves away and Vozzmeer counters with an outside leg kick.
Gregory fails with the takedown and Vozzmeer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Gregory. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gregory looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Vozzmeer trying to control but Gregory is working from the bottom. Josh Gregory has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vozzmeer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that's the end of the fight! Brandon Vozzmeer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Vozzmeer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
