Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keke Pummel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ozuma Obata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pummel comes to the cage accompanied by renegades. The crowd seem to be enjoying Obata's choice of entrance music: Hijack The Terrorist Group - Hijack. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pummel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Obata jabbing away but nothing is landing.

We've been hearing reports that Pummel has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

It looks like Keke Pummel has been cut.
Obata fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pummel manages to avoid it.
Obata throws a right and a left that Pummel avoids nicely.
Obata chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pummel can pounce on him.

and Pummel makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Pummel feints and then cracks Obata's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Obata down.

Pummel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pummel connects with an inside leg kick.
Obata avoids the body shot from Pummel.

Pummel cracks the inside of Obata's front leg.

Obata looks to score with a jab to the body but Pummel is just out of range.

Pummel struggles to land a body shot inside as Obata controls his hands.
Pummel lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Pummel lands a shoulder strike.
Pummel dips a shoulder and cracks Obata with a mighty uppercut! Obata falls back against the cage and Pummel unloads with a barrage of strikes! Obata is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pummel screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keke Pummel!
A relieved looking Keke Pummel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
