The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Martin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Martin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Miller counters with a takedown into side control. Martin can't do much from the bottom here. Miller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
