Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alessandro Chiara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayer has chosen Rammstein - mein teil as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Mayer darts in and clinches Chiara up against the cage.
Chiara jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mayer walks away with a smile on his face. Chiara gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Mayer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chiara circles away quickly and effectively.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mayer stuns Chiara with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mayer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chiara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd cheers as Mayer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chiara doesn't seem phased though.

Bastian Mayer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mayer lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Chiara out cold! Chiara is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
