The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Turkey as Sesay shoots in.
Sesay misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sesay tries to score a power double leg takedown but Turkey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sesay somewhat.
Good shot there by Turkey.
Sesay misses with a shot to the body
and Turkey counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sesay throws a body kick that misses.
Sesay tries for a takedown but Turkey circles away easily
and Turkey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Afoa Sesay. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Turkey throws a nice looking combination but Sesay bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Turkey moves out of range of the body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sesay misses with a takedown
and Turkey counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sesay is breathing heavily.
Turkey cracks Sesay with a big right hand and Sesay goes down!
Sesay is rocked!
It looks like Afoa Sesay has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Turkey postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Sesay's head off the mat! Sesay is out! He's out! Turkey jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
