The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rookie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cruzado throws out a loose jab but Rookie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cruzado fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cruzado misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rookie fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Rookie lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rookie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cruzado takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rookie feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cruzado sprawling to the canvas! Cruzado rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rookie finish him?!

Rookie throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Cruzado crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
