Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angus MacGyver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacGyver's entrance music is MacGyver. A fine choice. Zero has chosen Fozzy's "Shine Forever" as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Zero!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero shoots in but MacGyver avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zero shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as MacGyver sprawls well. MacGyver wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zero gets slowly back to his feet.

Zero shoots in and bounces MacGyver off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
MacGyver tries to land a sweep but no joy.
MacGyver is working hard here to advance position.
MacGyver looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MacGyver looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zero is one step ahead there.

MacGyver has his foot on Zero's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zero works his way back into a safe position though.
Zero wants to control from the top but MacGyver keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ray Zero was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Zero shoots in but MacGyver avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Angus MacGyver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Zero.
MacGyver stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and MacGyver wants it to stay on the feet.
Zero wants to clinch.
Zero throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around MacGyver's waist but MacGyver gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zero off to one side.

MacGyver instigates a clinch.
MacGyver is pressed up against the cage. Zero has hold of a leg and is looking to drag MacGyver down to the mat. MacGyver avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Zero throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
MacGyver defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zero.
MacGyver stuffs the takedown attempt from Zero. Zero gets slowly back to his feet.
Zero swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zero looks winded!
MacGyver with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zero looks for a takedown but MacGyver sprawls well.
MacGyver lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
MacGyver misses with a kick to the body.
Zero shoots in and drives through. MacGyver sprawls well.
Zero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. MacGyver tries to avoid it but Zero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag MacGyver to the ground. MacGyver escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
MacGyver tries to work over Zero's front leg with a kick but Zero checks it.

Zero shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. MacGyver manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Zero throwing strikes from guard but MacGyver blocks nicely.

Zero content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because MacGyver has locked up a guillotine! MacGyver's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Zero is holding on here and MacGyver must be using up a lot of energy. Zero has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! MacGyver gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Angus MacGyver!
A relieved looking Angus MacGyver thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
