The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

House instigates a clinch.

House jumps into guard, dragging Bartnik to the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Bartnik drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bartnik jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bartnik postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! House is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bartnik, into his guard.
House is looking to work some ground and pound but Bartnik has wrist control.
House knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bartnik on the ground.

Bartnik has his foot on House's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. House works his way back into a safe position though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

House avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bartnik pushes a forearm under House's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, House is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
