0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Swap Jo! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James Jo tries to clinch but Swap Jo moves away and Swap Jo counters with an inside leg kick. We've been hearing reports that James Jo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Swap Jo avoids a punch combination nicely.
James Jo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. James Jo showed some decent athleticism there. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. James Jo performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Swap Jo tries to kick James Jo off but James Jo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. James Jo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

James Jo working over Swap Jo with some ground and pound. Swap Jo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

James Jo works his foot free and advances to mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James Jo lands a big shot to the head and Swap Jo winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
