Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eddy Fury!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Stone with that takedown attempt.
Fury tries to clinch but Stone moves away
and Stone counters with a body kick that stops Fury in his tracks momentarily.

Stone scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Stone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fury is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Fury is looking for a sweep.

Stone is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fury has escaped the position, nice work there.

Stone decides to stand back up. Stone steps back and let's Fury get back to his feet.
Stone fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fury avoids it really well and circles away.

Stone darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fury is trying to get back to full guard.
Fury really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fury is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stone pulls his head out easily.

Stone tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Fury.

Fury takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Fury tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stone paws at him with a jab and circles away.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Fury with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Stone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fury pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Stone presses Fury against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Stone doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Fury wants to stand and escape but instead Stone has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Stone decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Stone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fury looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fury is trying to get back to his feet.

Stone stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Stone feints and as Fury raises his hands in defense, Stone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Buddy Stone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fury is working an open guard so Stone takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Stone drives through with a takedown into Fury's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Fury is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

It looks like Buddy Stone has been cut.

Fury moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off.
Stone throws a front kick that sends Fury stumbling back into the cage.
Stone misses with a kick to the body.
Fury thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fury tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Stone counters with a nice kick to the body.
Stone circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stone shoots for a double leg takedown but Fury sprawls well. He's pushed Stone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fury tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stone manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stone shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Fury eats them both and turns towards Stone to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Fury lands with a kick to the temple. Stone shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Fury doesn't manage to clinch there - Stone circles away.
Oh Stone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Eddy Fury has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Buddy Stone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Stone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Eddy Fury comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Stone has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
