PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Merari Bakannustus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bakannustus's entrance music is Godzilla vs King Ghidorah Theme . A fine choice. Dance has chosen Motorhead - The Game as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Dance!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dance feints and as Bakannustus raises his hands in defense, Dance changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dance postures up.
Dance looking to pass the guard.
Dance throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bakannustus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bakannustus pulls Dance in close to prevent any damage.
Bakannustus might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bakannustus looking to control.
Bakannustus is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dance is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
