The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qwerty tries to close the distance and clinch up but Grigoriev swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Qwerty throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Qwerty stuffs the takedown.

Qwerty throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Grigoriev tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Qwerty is in Grigoriev's guard.

Qwerty avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Grigoriev is trying to keep Qwerty in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Qwerty trying to control the position from guard on top but Grigoriev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Qwertyuio Qwerty has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Qwerty looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Grigoriev!
Grigoriev is looking for a sweep.
Grigoriev manages to get back to half guard.
Qwerty trying to control from half guard but Grigoriev is working away.

Qwerty is taking a breather. Grigoriev says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Qwerty looks winded!
Qwerty is looking to advance position but Grigoriev won't allow it.

Qwerty is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Grigoriev is just riding it out for now. Qwerty eventually gives up the hold.
Grigoriev gets full guard.

Grigoriev is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Grigoriev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Qwerty can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Grigoriev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Grigoriev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Qwerty gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Qwerty is posturing up here but Grigoriev has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Qwerty tries to roll out but it's too tight and Qwerty has to tap! Slick submission there by Grigoriev!
