Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dom Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corky Thatcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thatcher is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I am the Ultimate. Nelson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Dom Nelson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson shoots in looking for a takedown. Thatcher tries to sprawl out of it but Nelson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thatcher manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thatcher fails to land with a series of punches.
Nelson is breathing heavily.
Thatcher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Nelson uses his free foot to push down on Thatcher's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Thatcher.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nelson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Thatcher is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Thatcher flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Nelson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Thatcher and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Nelson slips an arm under Thatcher chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Nelson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Nelson is squeezing on Thatcher like an anaconda would it's prey. Thatcher fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
