Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grant Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Lucas Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norris comes to the cage accompanied by The Night by Kromestatik. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grant Norris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Lucas Jr! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norris blocks a head kick by Lucas Jr.

Lucas Jr with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Norris looks for the body kick but Lucas Jr saw that one coming. Norris is looking to land body kicks. Norris throws a series of punches but Lucas Jr moves out of range. Lucas Jr throws a front kick aimed at Norris's knee but Norris avoids it well. Grant Norris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lucas Jr moves away from the strike by Norris. Norris takes a swing at Lucas Jr's ribcage but misses. Norris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lucas Jr throws a head kick but Norris moves out of range.
Lucas Jr tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Lucas Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Norris.
Norris moves out of range of the leg kick from Lucas Jr. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lucas Jr lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Norris has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Norris and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A low kick from Lucas Jr misses and Norris counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lucas Jr throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Lucas Jr chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Norris throws a nice looking combination but Lucas Jr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Norris throws a head kick that misses. Norris feints and then cracks Lucas Jr's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lucas Jr down. Norris lands a right hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Norris throws a body kick that misses. Lucas Jr scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Lucas Jr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Norris's sensitive parts. Norris blocks a leg kick. Lucas Jr misses with a kick to the body.
Lucas Jr wants to land a leg kick but Norris is out of range. A head kick from Norris lands but Lucas Jr takes it in his stride. Lucas Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lucas Jr throws a leg kick and Norris counters with a crisp one two that drops Lucas Jr! Norris thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lucas Jr to his feet! Lucas Jr is in big trouble! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lucas Jr tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Norris is able to avoid easily. Lucas Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Norris moves out of range easily. Lucas Jr throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Norris lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Norris. Lucas Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Norris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. Lucas Jr is looking to close the distance but Norris sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Lucas Jr crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Lucas Jr is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

As Grant Norris got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Every win, I get closer to achieving my goal...being recognized as what I am. What I am?
