Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kantemir Gaunov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nyi Hti!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaunov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hti is looking to reverse the position.
Gaunov tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Gaunov looks up at the clock and then as Hti takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gaunov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gaunov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Gaunov sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hti is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Gaunov throws a strike aimed at the side of Hti's head but Hti avoids it well.
Gaunov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hti knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gaunov goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hti rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gaunov's guard! Nice work there by Hti!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hti is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gaunov working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Hti has passed into half guard!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gaunov tries to roll over but Hti keeps him under control.
Gaunov throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Hti is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gaunov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hti.
Hti seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gaunov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gaunov has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Hti. Oh but Gaunov has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Hti goes limp - he's gone! Gaunov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Kantemir Gaunov!
