Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elwood Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Scoller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jean Scoller is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elwood Bass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jean Scoller! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bass thows a body kick. Scoller tries to catch it but that hurt him. Scoller throws a sloppy head kick and Bass counters with a nice double leg into side control. Scoller won't be happy with that. Scoller takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bass cracks Scoller with a big right hand but Scoller just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bass working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Scoller taking a bit of punishment here - Bass scoring with strikes. Bass grinds an elbow into Scoller's temple.
Scoller is rocked! Scoller should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bass working the head with strikes. Scoller is still in real trouble! Can Bass finish him? Scoller tries to bench press Bass off him but Bass keeps the position. Bass is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Scoller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Scoller seems to have recovered his senses. Check out the look on Bass's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bass gets to mount! Scoller was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Scoller tries to lock up and control but Bass gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Scoller is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bass putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Bass breaks from Scoller's wrist control and lands an elbow. Bass won't let Scoller get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Scoller is desperately trying to improve his position but Bass has a good base and remains in mount. Bass will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Scoller tries to hold on but Bass postures up. Scoller sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Scoller wants to get back to full guard but Bass has mounted him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bass looking to secure an arm triangle but Scoller defends it well. Scoller wants to hold on but Bass pushes him away. Bass landing strikes from the mount. Scoller tries to get back to half guard but can't. Scoller wants to control but Bass is having none of it. Scoller is trying to escape the mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Scoller is trying desperately to improve position. Scoller tries to hold on but Bass postures up. Scoller is wriggling around trying to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scoller tries to lock up and control but Bass gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Scoller is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scoller shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Scoller wants to advance to full mount but Bass doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Bass manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Scoller manages to get himself to full guard.
Bass postures up and lands a big shot to Scoller's brow. Bass prevents Scoller from getting back to his feet. Scoller is striking off his back. Bass thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Scoller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bass. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Scoller wants to get back to full guard but Bass has passed into side control. Scoller is trying to control Bass's posture but Bass avoids it. Scoller tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Bass presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scoller can do anything to dispel that myth. Scoller is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scoller is bucking up trying to escape but Bass cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Bass avoids the attempt from Scoller to control. Scoller tries to get back to half guard but can't. Scoller keeps trying to improve his position. Bass with shots to the head and body - Scoller looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bass lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Scoller taking shots to the head. Bass avoids the attempt from Scoller to control. Bass looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Scoller wants to control but Bass is having none of it. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bass cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Elwood Bass overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scoller keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Scoller tries to lock up and control but Bass gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Scoller's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Scoller keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bass trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Scoller is wriggling around trying to escape.

That was a close second round but I would say that Elwood Bass will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Scoller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Scoller wants to control but Bass passes easily into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Scoller on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Scoller wants to get back to full guard. Scoller looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scoller trying to hold on to Bass's head to control him but Bass postures up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bass lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bass lands a nice short elbow. Scoller wants to sweep but Bass has passed to side control! Scoller trying his best to control but Bass has mounted him. Scoller really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Bass connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Bass lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Scoller hang on? Scoller is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Scoller is looking to improve his position but Bass isn't that keen on the idea. Jean Scoller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Elwood Bass is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
