Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emil Karamanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavel Grigorenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Emil Karamanov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pavel Grigorenko! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grigorenko goes for a double leg but Karamanov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Karamanov continues to drive forward. Karamanov stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Grigorenko fails to pull guard.
Karamanov jumps guard and drags Grigorenko to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Karamanov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Karamanov wants to work for an arm triangle but Grigorenko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Grigorenko trying to get back to full guard but Karamanov takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Karamanov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Karamanov wants to finish this one by submission but Grigorenko is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Karamanov.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grigorenko is squirming around, avoiding Karamanov's attempts to control the action. Grigorenko wants to hold on but Karamanov pushes him away. Karamanov sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Grigorenko is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Karamanov trying to control but Grigorenko is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karamanov cracks Grigorenko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Grigorenko throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Karamanov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Grigorenko is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Karamanov is landing with some decent strikes but Grigorenko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Karamanov wants to control the pace but Grigorenko is squirming around nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Karamanov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Grigorenko's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Karamanov unloading with bombs! Karamanov content just to control the position here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Karamanov tries to control but Grigorenko wriggling away. Karamanov has hold of Grigorenko's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Grigorenko manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Karamanov lands a couple of good shots and Grigorenko has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Karamanov lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karamanov lands punches and elbows. Grigorenko wants to control his opponent's hands but Karamanov gets his hands free. Grigorenko tries to escape but Karamanov has the hooks in and won't let him break free. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Good control from Karamanov. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Karamanov throwing damaging strikes from the back! Grigorenko could be in trouble here!
Grigorenko trying to control the position but Karamanov manages to sink in the hooks. Karamanov is riding his opponent, not letting Grigorenko buck him off. Karamanov is persistently looking for the submission but Grigorenko is defending it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Karamanov keeps control of the position as Grigorenko tries to break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Karamanov fails with a takedown attempt. Karamanov darts in looking for a takedown but Grigorenko gets double underhooks and turns Karamanov into the cage. Karamanov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Karamanov wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Emil Karamanov. That's going to take a lot out of him. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Karamanov takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Grigorenko wants a takedown.
Grigorenko drops down looking for an ankle pick but Karamanov pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Karamanov shoots in for a takedown but Grigorenko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Karamanov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Karamanov trying to control the action but Grigorenko is working from the bottom. Karamanov controlling the action here. Karamanov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grigorenko keeps working. Grigorenko is looking for a sweep. Karamanov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karamanov is thwarting Grigorenko's attempts to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Emil Karamanov just wasn't active enough. Grigorenko closes the distance and clinches up with Karamanov, looking for a takedown. Grigorenko pushes Karamanov against the cage but Karamanov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Karamanov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Grigorenko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Karamanov somewhat. Grigorenko shoots in and gets a takedown into Karamanov's guard. Emil Karamanov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Grigorenko wants to stand but Karamanov has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Grigorenko wants to pass the guard but Karamanov is keeping the position.

Grigorenko throws a big right hand that misses. Grigorenko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Grigorenko trying to control but Karamanov is working from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Karamanov is trying to control the position but Grigorenko postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Karamanov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Grigorenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grigorenko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Karamanov. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Karamanov is defended easily by Grigorenko. Grigorenko has closed the distance and engaged Karamanov in a clinch.

Grigorenko works over Karamanov's head and body with a nice combination. Grigorenko fails with a takedown attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Karamanov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Karamanov wants it to stay on the feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grigorenko gets a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pavel Grigorenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grigorenko. Grigorenko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Karamanov circles away. Karamanov has a takedown stuffed. Grigorenko fails with a takedown attempt. Emil Karamanov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pavel Grigorenko. Grigorenko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Grigorenko shoots in but no luck this time. Grigorenko leaves Karamanov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Grigorenko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Grigorenko tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Karamanov defends well and Grigorenko ends up having to push Karamanov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Karamanov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Grigorenko defends well. Grigorenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karamanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Karamanov has his foot on Grigorenko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grigorenko works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karamanov trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Karamanov keeping moving, preventing Grigorenko from controlling successfully. Grigorenko seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Grigorenko wants to control from the top but Karamanov keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grigorenko wants to stand and escape but instead Karamanov has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Pavel Grigorenko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Grigorenko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
