Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Te Huna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Duke Hernandez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Te Huna! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Te Huna feints a jab promting Hernandez to slip. Te Huna then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hernandez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Te Huna throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Te Huna misses with a wild body shot. Te Huna throws a looping overhand right but Hernandez ducks down to avoid it. Te Huna walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Te Huna with a nice cross. Te Huna misses with a right hand and Hernandez counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Te Huna's guard now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hernandez controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hernandez wants to control from the top but Te Huna keeps moving. Hernandez is pushing down on Te Huna's leg trying to pass to half guard. Te Huna is fighting to maintain full guard but Hernandez has managed to sneak the leg through. Hernandez wants to free his trapped foot but Te Huna is holding on for dear life with his legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hernandez is keen to just control but Te Huna is a slippery customer. Te Huna is in trouble now - Hernandez has advanced to mount! Hernandez looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Te Huna can do anything to dispel that myth. Hernandez looking for a guillotine from mount but Te Huna is having none of it. Hernandez goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Te Huna turns into him and now he's in Hernandez's guard.
Hernandez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hernandez wants to sweep but no luck. Te Huna trying to control but Hernandez is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hernandez is on top in guard.
Hernandez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hernandez advances to half guard. Te Huna blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hernandez. Hernandez passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Te Huna!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hernandez tries to control but Te Huna wriggling away. Hernandez is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Te Huna has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Hernandez raining down hammerfists from mount. Hernandez moves to back control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hernandez tightening his grip on Te Huna, looking for the choke. Hernandez really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Te Huna.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hernandez has managed to slip his arm under Te Huna's chin. This could be all over... yep, Te Huna is tapping out! Submission win for Hernandez.
