Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tarmo Teras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairtex slips a jab and a cross from Teras.
Teras bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Teras shoots in but Fairtex avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fairtex wants to slow Teras down by chopping away at his legs.
Fairtex throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Teras keeps the fight on the outside.
Teras fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fairtex sprawls well initially but Teras persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Teras seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fairtex does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Teras misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fairtex connects with a solid leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Teras crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fairtex - the referee stops the clock and Teras gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fairtex. Teras manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
