Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dileno Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex MacDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dileno Carneiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex MacDonald! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carneiro has his takedown stuffed and MacDonald counters with a big head kick but Carneiro shrugs it off. Carneiro shoots in for a takedown but MacDonald shows good takedown defense. Carneiro tries to keep at a distance but MacDonald has taken the fight into the clinch. Carneiro can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dileno Carneiro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carneiro goes for a takedown attempt but MacDonald pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Carneiro tries for a takedown but MacDonald circles away easily and MacDonald counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Carneiro doesn't succeed with the takedown and MacDonald counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. MacDonald wants to stand but Carneiro is controlling his arm. MacDonald lands an elbow. Carneiro tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carneiro can't do much from the bottom here. MacDonald trying to control the position but Carneiro is working away. Carneiro struggling a bit here. Carneiro manages to work his way to half guard, despite MacDonald's best efforts. Carneiro gets back to full guard.
MacDonald really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carneiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Carneiro looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carneiro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. MacDonald defends it easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! MacDonald is stalling in the full guard. Carneiro is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. MacDonald must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Carneiro is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Carneiro pushes a forearm under MacDonald's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, MacDonald is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
