Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johann Bismark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bismark comes to the cage accompanied by I Don't Care Anymore - Phil Collins. Machida has chosen Bleed It Out as his entrance music. Ryoto Machida told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida looks for the body kick but Bismark saw that one coming.
Bismark uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Machida.
Machida misses with a hook. Bismark ducked under it nicely.
Machida throws a right hand that misses
and Bismark counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Bismark is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Machida has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bismark is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Machida is just riding it out for now. Bismark eventually gives up the hold.
Bismark maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Machida could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Bismark has cracked it and Machida is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Bismark!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Johann Bismark!
After the fight, Johann Bismark was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
