Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Longhold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by replay. John Jones is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Longhold sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
Longhold throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Longhold as he avoids it easily.
Longhold lands a nice shot that snaps Jones's head back.

Longhold closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Longhold has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Longhold's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
