PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ongka Ongka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartlomiej Bartnicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ongka comes into the arena with Abebe blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ongka misses with a low kick as Bartnicki jumps back.
Ongka throws a leg kick that misses.
Ongka tries for a takedown but Bartnicki circles away easily

and Bartnicki counters with a takedown into side control.
Bartnicki wants to control but Ongka is keeping him busy.
Bartnicki is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Bartnicki thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bartnicki scores with punches from side control.
Bartnicki is looking to take a break and control but Ongka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ongka regains half guard there - taking advantage of Bartnicki's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Bartnicki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ongka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ongka is trying to maintain the position but Bartnicki is very close to passing his half guard.
Ongka is pressing down on Bartnicki's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Ongka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bartnicki is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ongka has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bartnicki is looking to defend but Ongka has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bartnicki! Ongka pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bartnicki taps out and this one is all over!

After the fight, Ongka Ongka was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
